I migrated all my Org Social repositories from GitHub to https://git.andros.dev/org-social .

I also updated https://org-social.org/ with the docs page.

I replied to some old issues in the GitHub repository. Users can no longer create PRs or issues there as I disabled that option, and I updated the CONTRIBUTING file with instructions on how to collaborate.

I fixed a small bug with the Org Social Live preview around profile links.

And I started drafting my new article about the `talk` command and IP chats. It's the perfect time to revive this technology thanks to mesh VPNs.

The Finger article continues to drive traffic and stayed on top of Hacker News!

Finger never had a search engine, so I made one: crossed-fingers. An aggregator that collects .plan files and indexes them for text searching.

And I pinged to Jonathan Deamer, the creator of Lookit; a new Finger client in Go (https://github.com/jonathandeamer/lookit). Maybe he can make use of my work.

I finished my draft about the Finger protocol.

After the recent GitHub outage, I am moving the last repositories from my GitHub to my Git instance (Forgejo). It is a lot of work because I will need to update some references in PyPI and MELPA.

I made my own Finger client for Emacs. The default one, finger, had too many limitations.

Set up my own fingerd in Python to go along with an article about the Finger protocol.

I'm still researching Finger; there's a lot of scattered information. However I have a good draft.

Today the patch with the Spanish translation of the Org Mode website, where I've been working for almost 8 months with translator Laura M., has been accepted. I've announced the achievement on my social media.
